[02:31]<PCdoc> I dont understand 'why' is everyone always want to defence lc even if he is wrong. Why cant they accept, yes, he is wrong. when everyone actually knows he is but still defend him and this encourages to repeat his unacceptable behaviour.
[02:31]<PCdoc> FYI, if you have not seen Immental1200 post on the chat forum
[02:32]<@BC_Programming> yes
[02:32]<@BC_Programming> I honestly do not give a flying fuck
[02:36]<PCdoc> kyle_engineer, he is right now using an irccloud hostmask on ch witha guest43999 nick. His whois shows his name as Kyle_engineer. He said everything there on the forum, its not easy to kick blah blah and himself using irccloud lol
[02:37]<@BC_Programming> I know he's full of crap, none of that made any sense and only a person who didn't understand IRC would have bought it
[02:38]<PCdoc> lol kyle is HOP?? :-o I think only myself and camerongray is left who are NOT op :P
[02:39]<@BC_Programming> the people who kiss Lostcoast's ass are given HOP
[02:40]<PCdoc> Yeah that I can see on the forums. The side effects. Agree to him when by heart they not agreeing.
[02:41]<@BC_Programming> they made their choice. If they want to compromise their integrity in order to have a few stupid privileges in a single IRC Channel that's their perogative

[06:19]<PCdoc> Immental1200: hi
[06:19]<PCdoc> Immental1200: you made a fool out of yourself like I did a month ago lol
[06:19]<Immental1200> No, I didn't.
[06:20]<Immental1200> Because to anyone with a brain, I'm not a fool.
[06:20]<Immental1200> ;)
[06:20]<PCdoc> Yeah you did. You posted there, but no one heard it. Instead they defended LC
[06:20]<Immental1200> Doesn't make ne a fool
[06:20]<Immental1200> Shows how downhill ch has gone
[06:21]<Immental1200> I made a lot of people dislike me on the forum
[06:21]<Immental1200> Posting for the first time in a year
[06:21]<PCdoc> Well, all that what you now say is like you are trying to calm yourself down. May be.
[06:21]<Immental1200> What else would you expect
[06:21]<PCdoc> Yeah same for myself
[06:21]<PCdoc> I hated that all post in there I made a month ago
[06:22]<Immental1200> Hm...
[06:22]<PCdoc> I adviced you to PM nathan, did you do that?
[06:22]<Immental1200> I don't hate anything I posted
[06:22]<Immental1200> I'm going to, I've got lots to say
[06:24]<PCdoc> Remember to be polite. And tell in a way which will make sense to him lol
[06:25]<Immental1200> Nathan has never done anything I've disagreed with
[06:25]<Immental1200> I've no reason to be anything but polite
[06:25]<PCdoc> Same Here

[06:26]<Immental1200> o.o
[06:26]<PCdoc> hehe
[06:27]<Immental1200> Oh... did you hear about Valve?
[06:27]<Immental1200> They trademarked .... Half life 3 :D
[06:27]<PCdoc> no ?
[06:28]<Immental1200> I just replayed half life 2 a couple months ago
[06:28]<PCdoc> I wanna play too. But my comp's hardware is not so great. Imean COD does not even load lol
[06:28]<Immental1200> Ouch...
[06:28]<Immental1200> Well chances are it'll be running on Source
[06:29]<PCdoc> It loads but the maps won't
[06:29]<Immental1200> So if you can run Portal 2 on medium / high
[06:29]<Immental1200> You MAY be OK...
[06:29]<Immental1200> But there's also word of an overhaul
[06:30]<Immental1200> https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Source
[06:31]<PCdoc> I have this mobo http://www.gigabyte.in/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2521#ov
[06:32]<Immental1200> *casually waits years for the page to load*
[06:32]<Immental1200> Oh... cannot connect
[06:32]<Immental1200> o.o
[06:32]<Immental1200> Wait, Gigabyte.IN? Why .IN
[06:32]<PCdoc> http://ee.gigabyte.com/products/page/mb/ga-945gcmx-s2_66/
[06:32]<PCdoc> coz m in India
[06:32]<PCdoc> try the othr one
[06:34]<Immental1200> Ouch... my 775 board trumped that... and it was like a £40 ASUS
[06:34]<PCdoc> I bought this from a Scrap dealer. For my office lol
[06:34]<Immental1200> It did 1066 DDR2, 8GB of RAM, 6 SATA ports... surprised that yours isn't better
[06:34]<PCdoc> Actually, was meant for re-sell in a second hand machine.
[06:35]<Immental1200> Then again, I've not looked at 775 boards for about 4 years...
[06:35]<Immental1200> First PC I built was based off 775 and an E3440
[06:35]<Immental1200> Then I upgraded the CPU, motherboard...
[06:35]<Immental1200> And I'm currently with an AMD
[06:35]<PCdoc> The CPU is E2140 Pentium Dual CPU
[06:35]<PCdoc> 1GB ddr2
[06:36]<Immental1200> Ha... the CPU I bought for my custom build is actually in this desktop I'm on right now
[06:36]<Immental1200> My parents didn't use their PC much, and it wasn't ever using more than like 20% CPU so I asked and swapped them
[06:36]<Immental1200> Got myself an extra 600MHz
[06:41]<PCdoc> I have a C2D second hand in my stock. But I would rather sell it because here this particular processor inspite being old fetches good cost :P
[06:42]<Immental1200> C2D?
[06:42]<Immental1200> I used a system with a Core 2 Duo today, it almost made me cry :/
[06:42]<Immental1200> Windows 7 + the graphics on the Intel chipset = waaa
[06:42]<Immental1200> You open more than 5 tabs, or a very long page like computerhopes HTML colour code... and bam. You loose input for about 30 seconds while it resets the drivers...
[06:43]<Immental1200> Vista drivers only... the work OK on Vista, occassionally will crash... but on 7 it's just pure hell
[06:47]<PCdoc> What was the frequency?
[06:47]<Immental1200> Got a feeling 2.66 or 2.8
[06:48]<Immental1200> Probably 2.8
[06:48]<PCdoc> i have few Athlons too
[06:48]<Immental1200> My main PC has an athlon lol
[06:48]<Immental1200> Serious value for money
[06:49]<PCdoc> And one Sempron
[06:49]<Immental1200> £50 ... quad core 3GHz and more than capable of keeping up with a 550ti
[06:49]<Immental1200> Very smooth multitasking and tons of motherboards support it as well as fx chips
[06:52]<Immental1200> It's even listed on here http://cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html
[06:52]<Immental1200> Which for £50 is awesome
[06:57]<PCdoc> Do you know how Mercury KOB 845GL NDSMx is useful?
[06:58]<PCdoc> http://www.mercury-pc.com/product-detail.php?link=p-mainboards&subtitle=Mainboard&productid=51#
[07:00]<Immental1200> Not just by looking quickly
[07:00]<Immental1200> I assume there's a reason you're trying to get me to see?
[07:02]<PCdoc> This board's BIOS IC is fitted on IC socket. So if you have a motherboard like 845gvsr Intel which has a bios problem. Simply remove the IC of that intel board and fit in this board's socket. And turn on the board. This board is capable of flashing that bios instead of using a bios programmer
[07:35]<Immental1200> Hm
[08:42]<PCdoc> BC_Programming: do you also program brains?? lol

[13:06]<@Mulreay> Hello world
[13:10]<+camerongray> How's everything?
[13:11]<@Calum> I don't like Linux
[13:11]<@Calum> other than that, not bad
[13:11]<+camerongray> lol
[13:11]<+camerongray> You'll get to grips with it eventually
[13:11]<Immental1200> Anyone got a high speed connection, a spare pc and teamviewer they want to let me use for an hour? XD
[13:11]<+camerongray> Or if you have a spare licence for Windows you can put that on the server I think
[13:11]<@Mulreay> No
[13:12]<@Mulreay> Immental1200: no
[13:12]<@Calum> camerongray: I could, but I really should learn Linux
[13:12]<Immental1200> :P
[13:12]<+camerongray> Yeah, good point
[13:12]<@Calum> Immental1200: I have a spare Linux box if you want to set it all up for me...lol
[13:12]<Immental1200> What exactly do you want set up? :P
[13:13]<@Calum> anything at this point! Nah, tonight it's going reasonably well actually, gave up on what I was doing yesterday
[13:13]<Immental1200> My co worker was supposed to be setting me up a Server 2008 box on his BT Infinity 3 connection....
[13:13]<Immental1200> Seems he set the box up, turned teamviewer on...
[13:13]<Immental1200> Then disappeared before giving me the password.
[13:13]<@Calum> excellent
[13:14]<Immental1200> Just what I need... as I've got to transfer about 5GB in ... 3 hours?
[13:14]<Immental1200> Download and upload XD
[13:14] * Nat (nat@mib-D760DC52.west.biz.rr.com) has joined #glitchpc
[13:15]<@Calum> I actually do have a Linux box you could use if you want, with 100/100 connection...not sure how to actually do it though as I'm struggling with Linux in general heh
[13:15]<Immental1200> I would just use scp between the servers, but it turns out I have to use FTP on a per account basis... which means I need to wake up for starters...
[13:15]<Immental1200> It's created each individual server slot with it's own user account and permissions :D
[13:15]<Immental1200> So I can't just upload with root or it won't run
[13:16]<+camerongray> And you plan on moving client data through some random person's internet connection/hard drive?
[13:17]<Immental1200> It's not client data
[13:17]<Immental1200> But yeah, I was half joking when I asked :L
[13:17]<Immental1200> With any luck he'll be back within the hour and go oh yeah there's the password I forgot
[13:18]<@Mulreay> I think with Linux it's people are far more 'I spent hours learning this and so I want respect' whilst the rest of us are thinking 'whatever dude, I don't have the time'
[13:18]<@Calum> wow, I just successfully installed and set up BOINC on this box, I'm so proud of myself!
[13:18]<@Calum> Mulreay: some people can be like that, I'm just incredibly happy I can use simple commands hah
[13:18]<@Mulreay> lol
[13:19]<@BC_Programming> Instead of making the system make sense, they double down and try to make dollars
[13:19]<Immental1200> I'll happily admit I know bugger all when it comes to linux past the basics...
[13:20]<+camerongray> Eep
[13:21]<@Mulreay> I can create a bot server in Linux but that was a while back and never had the compunction to follow it up
[13:21]<+camerongray> Immental1200: You run a web host but only know the basics of Linux?
[13:21]<@Mulreay> *bot on a server
[13:21]<Immental1200> I don't generally deal with the actual SSH stuff.
[13:22]<Immental1200> I'm able to do stuff if I have to
[13:22]<Immental1200> But it'll take me three times as long as someone else
[13:22]<@Mulreay> Like a small child?
[13:22]<Immental1200> I don't run it solely on my own... I've someone who's been dealing with linux for over 10 years.
[13:22]<Immental1200> He started the business
[13:23]<Immental1200> Urm... I suppose... like a small child... except I tend to use Google rather than sit there asking for help...
[13:23]<@BC_Programming> I need to get the project for this stupid Waitlist thing started
[13:24]<@BC_Programming> step one: wtf is a waitlist and what do we need it for
[13:24]<Immental1200> What you should do
[13:24]<@Mulreay> Lots of people are waiting for something?
[13:24]<Immental1200> Is build something that stores lines of text
[13:24]<jamer> Ssh... Immental1200 ... Usually dont i have to help you on that..

[13:25]<jamer> XD true
[13:25]<@Mulreay> Ahh here we are with lots of in-jokes... this could take a while
[13:26]<@Mulreay> BC_Programming that hat!! You know
[13:26]<@BC_Programming> Immental1200 that is probably what they would do NOW... funny think about being paid 30,000 dollars for software is that the companies receiving the software expect the software to have features that sorta prevent them from having to manage things on paper
[13:26]<wonderwoman> hey!
[13:27]<@BC_Programming> All I know is it's related to Marina's, I don't know if it's per-site or per-marina.... I just hope it's not per-slip, that would be confusing
[13:27]<+camerongray> Hey wonderwoman
[13:27]<Immental1200> If it's per slip, can I laugh lots?
[13:27]<wonderwoman> hey Cameron!!
[13:27]<@BC_Programming> Immental1200: only if you know what a slip is
[13:28]<@BC_Programming> nobody in the company knows wtf it means anymore... it seems like it's some weird combination term for the site and the sublet
[13:28]<@BC_Programming> or maybe a site is a slip+ a sublet, I forget
[13:29]<Immental1200> If you don't know
[13:29]<Immental1200> How the hell do I know
[13:30]<@BC_Programming> heh
[13:30]<@BC_Programming> well I dunno maybe you worked in a Marina that used that Jargon :P
[13:31]<@Mulreay> I can't get this satellite into orbit
[13:32]<@BC_Programming> can you get anything into orbit?
[13:32]<@BC_Programming> even just a command module
[13:32]<@BC_Programming> because that's a good start
[13:32]<@Mulreay> Nope.. don't visit 'Mulreay's orbit Palour' for vehicles
[13:33]<Immental1200> Oh...
[13:33]<Immental1200> Then, perhaps
[13:33]<Immental1200> A slip refers to each individual boat mooring place
[13:33]<Immental1200> A site is a collection of those slips
[13:33]<Immental1200> And the marina is all the shites
[13:33]<Immental1200> SITES.
[13:33]<Immental1200> ;)
[13:33]<@Mulreay> I can get them up there but then the stupid things won't orbit
[13:33]<@BC_Programming> then what is a sublet?
[13:34]<@BC_Programming> Mulreay: well you have to get the rocket you are using in orbit first
[13:34]<@Mulreay> Yeah done that lots
[13:34]<Immental1200> As far as I was aware, a sub let was a flat or house that's part let out XD
[13:35]<@BC_Programming> Mulreay: I mean the rocket you are flying with the satellite on it needs to be a stable orbit before you detach
[13:35]<@Mulreay> See that's my problem
[13:36]<@Mulreay> I can get the module in space but then creating the orbit is hard
[13:36]<@Mulreay> with a rocket
